Tim Cox was a member of production, remixing and songwriting team The Band of Gypsies (www.myspace.com/bandofgypsies2).http://bandofgypsies.bandcamp.com/ They wrote and produced the early Rozalla hits "Everybody's Free", "Faith" and "Are You Ready To Fly". "Everybody's Free" has sold over a million copies worldwide and has been used in numerous films. Recently Tim has written songs for Slippmatt and Daniel Light's new label Can You Feel It Media and is currently working on remixes, songwriting and production with Erire. Tim has also written and recorded some new songs with Lauren Dyson (of Basshunter fame).
Tim has recently been doing production work and remixes for Randy Jones (the gay cowboy from the Village People), and dance diva Erire.
In "The Tirith" Tim teams up with his old sparring partner Dick Cory and returns to his original first instrument guitar.

Founding member 1971, Dick plays bass, acoustic guitar, synths via pedals and handles the vocals. Songwriter.
After the first Tirith, Dick went to University and studied Geology. He has continued with music, writing songs and recording a whole body of work over the years, including working with Tim on many occasions. In 1995 he set up the record label Just Create Records which went on to have success with the compilations "Ambient Northern Lights I and II". These appeared in the mainstream shops and were widely distributed across europe. Dick is best known for his ambient music recorded under the name "Trace Melon", and has had several peices of music used by the BBC. However about 7 years ago he returned to his first love, guitar based prog rock, which eventually led to the reformation of "The Tirith”.
Paul was the drummer with the original incarnation of the band in the 70s. He was responsible for getting us back together again in 2010 and played with The Tirith through until March 2012, when he had to step aside because of his many commitments with other bands. He played with us at our reunion gig at The Musician in Leicester in 2011 and recorded some of the drums for Tales from the Tower. Following the retirement of Carl Nightingale in July 2020, Paul rejoined the band in August 2020.
Ant started playing piano at a young age but really developed as a player after discovering Rock and Prog at the age of 15.
Heavily influenced by Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman and Jon Lord he soon got into writing his own music and in the mid 70's joined a band playing working men's clubs in the Midlands.
Founder member of Nottinghams Strange Mist band who enjoyed moderate local success for about 5 years. In the late 80's he founded Subway Studios on Alfreton Road Nottingham and spent many years developing his recording and production skills along with some intense songwriting.
Ant has more recently contributed to Nottingham band Mild Panic.
